Coucou Nos Bébés,
We’re in that final countdown now; that last lap of Mario Kart where the music starts getting mad stressful. But there’s also a lot of good things coming our way: apple picking has officially started, Thanksgiving is on its way (which means we need pants with elastic bands), and also black friday is coming which is when we all mad dash for things we THINK our friends and family might like, but even if they don’t it was a 2-for-1 so do we really care? As an added bonus? We have A LOT of fun gift guides coming your way.
Like every other week, we’re bringing you a bitesize collection of what’s going on in our world: from what we’re getting up to (hint: it’s a lot of innovative fashion), to how we’re finally succumbing to TikTok (if you see us there using weird Gen Z-speak, no you didn’t).
Hopefully this will be a better companion than the constant conversations you’ve been having with family about what your Thanksgiving plans are ✨ See you in your inbox, every Wednesday.

Felix Gray knows that no one is limiting their computer time to an hour (not even toddlers do that), and instead innovated a solution that will work just as hard as we do. Felix Gray glasses filter 15x more blue light than others, saving us from digital eye straight, sleep pattern disruption and eye damage.

Diving Deep: How to: Consume Less Through the Holidays
The holidays are quickly approaching and with them comes the massive trash bags of garbage we’re gonna produce: from thanksgiving leftovers and holiday ribbons, to wrapping paper and NYE memorabilia/confetti.
Every year, we produce 25% more waste around the holidays– about an extra million tons per week. And for what? A pretty bow and some socks you didn’t even want? Let’s run through some statistics, why don’t we?
Ribbons: If every household reused just 2 feet of ribbons (you know, when wrapping presents), it would accumulate 38,000 miles worth of ribbon (which is enough to wrap around the whole planet, and then some). Trees: 1 two-meter Christmas Tree = 16 kg of Carbon Dioxide (and we go through about 15 million trees each year, you do the math). Food: 4.2 millions meals are wasted throughout the holidays too (that’s A LOT of stuffing).
So, how do we cut down on holiday waste?
1) Consider Digital. $2.65 billion Christmas cards are sold every year in America. How much exactly is that? (1 football field) x (10 stories high). So yeah, just one card less from each person saves 50,000 cubic yards of paper.
2) Get things that last. When you buy items that have a long shelf-life due to their high-quality materials, you are not only able to enjoy them for longer but also keep them out of the landfill. Look for Organic Cottons or TENCEL.
3) Not regifting, but repurposing. Buy from brands that do the reducing for you, when they use recycled materials.
4) Just because it’s cheap, doesn’t mean you need it– buy with intention. We love a good deal as much as the next person, but do you really need that inflatable kiddie pool? 5) Consider circularity (those “give to get” programs). Not only do you normally get a discount, but the jeans/underwear/whatever that you were gonna throw out anyway is now going to get a new life.
